The Brutal Landlord.

There was a man called Otika in Enugu state in the Year 2002 when children went to school without fear of being kidnapped! He was the CEO of Otiks Electronics and Media located in a densely populated area in the state and he was a husband of one wife! One day, they wanted to make him a Deacon in the church in which he attends and they launched a probe into his life only to find out that he was not kind to his tenants! In fact, Otika lived a horrow life behind the scene and nobody was monitoring him! When the results of the probe were out, the committee decided to throw his name aside and nothing was done about it.

For many years, Otika wondered why nobody was congratulating him from the church but no answer came to his mind! So, he decided to mind his businesses which included poultry farming, supplying electrical appliances and visiting his tenants. At a point, he decided not to be hard on them again but it was already too late because they had devised a means with which to deal with him. The Aboki he hired to be a security man there left without telling him and before he could know it, they had turned his house into a comedy centre! People were trooping in that afternoon as they were shouting a movie but nobody noticed him and unknown to him, the movie was all about him and how he treated them for the past 9 years! The moment he stepped in, the camera man faced him and the all shouted, Here comes the tyrant of our town!

That same year, he traveled to Thailand because he was so ashamed of himself! When he came back, he ran to the church to confess his sins but the priest told him that his days were numbered! Throughout the week, he couldn't eat and was moody but his wife consoled him.

After one week, he traveled to the village and bought one of his younger brothers to become a caretaker there and the people respected him because that one knew how to blow flute! Everything returned back to normal and nobody missed Ibro again because Bro. Chuks also doubled as a guard to them all. When he was less busy, he went to see his brother at the market.

People wondered why they looked so alike in appearance but miles away in character! Soon, they imagined that Mr. Otiks must have gone through a lot while chasing money as a youth. Later, Chuks enrolled for a course at a vocational institute in front of their house and later became a Chef! His brother supported him and he did well for himself! When he got to the church, he joined the choir and found a damsel there which he later married. Her name was Russel. Together, they opened a thrift business and people trusted them with their monies of which they didn't disappoint! They made money and diversified while Otiks wife, Ozioma traveled abroad to deliver there third child in Alkansas!

Otika learnt his lesson in a bitter way but couldn't sue any of his tenants because they signed a memorandum of understanding! When he had the opportunity of building another house, he took care of his tenants without minding whose ox was gored.

Chuks and Russell traveled to Yorubaland and his father-in-law blessed him! Today, they're doing well as importers!
