There was a clash.


In the year 1985, Imiano was on a plane going to Johanesburg on a business trip and the plane clashed! His body was not found and nothing was heard of him. Birds of the air littered the place and the media carried different versions of the news! Later, Imiano appeared and people were shocked because he had missed his flight! Though, a lot of people survived, the pilot lost his life.


That incident marked the beginning of sorrows for the Madukas because before that ill-fated journey, Imiano was having a serious court case with one Prof. Opera Maduka of Sheltight Company operating in Lagos! The beef was so intense that people thought they could both kill themselves if they ever meet. When the news broke out, people started suspecting Prof. Maduka! Even his speaking engagement in the UK was cancelled that week as he needed more time to sort himself out. When Imiano finally appeared, people believed it was a miracle because he had no parachute and imiano allowed them to believe whatever they wanted as he minded his business but secretly, he knew what had happened!


When he came back, he consoled his crying child and told them what happened! Actually, he was not on that plane as they had thought! He had missed his flight and went to Cotonuo instead because he didn't want to return home empty-handedly and while in Cotonuo, he made some real business contacts that even when he heard about the plane clash, he couldn't come back instantly because he was busy attending conferences on a national scale. After hearing his own side of the story, his family members were happy and begged him to forfeit the parcel of land he was dragging with Maduka at Nssukka but he refused and said over his dead body should he let his sweat go just like that! His family members were scared because they never knew him to be like that.


When he finally resumed work, his colleagues came to sympathise with him but he told them that there was no cause for alarm as the coast is clear and through to his words, shipments started arriving two weeks after his first appearance in office and people wondered if he was planning to change his previous line of business but they waited for the events to unfold! Later, Prof. Maduka apologized to him and they became friends again but the case was still in court!


Being stubborn men, none of them could let go! What happened was that an agent sold the same parcel of land to them and ran away and when they discovered the foul play, they head to court! Imiano later lost the case but was more engrossed in his zeal for his newly found importation business that he didn't pay attention to the merits of the case! When ever people thought about the plane clash, they remembered imiano but he was never a victim.


On his 63rd birthday, Prof. Maduka invited him over for a drink and the company hosted them! That brought an end to their beef and people knew they were together! Problem started when his wife reminded him that he had not paid her the sum of 14,000.00 Naira He borrowed from her many years ago in order to file a report and he was flabbergasted!


His wife was right anyway because she noted that he didn't want to use his money and do the legal battle because his money was majorly for helping people. After the time she gave him expired, she reminded him and Imiano paid her off which thing brought peace back to the house and good tidings to her heart!


Of a truth, there was a plane clash but imiano was not lost in the process.

Today, he is alive delivering his quota to humanity thanks to change of plans due to a little mistake.
